Brabners & Kingsdale Head - Peatland Restoration Project

Brabners LLP are a law firm and member of Business Declares, who became carbon neutral in 2020. As part of their next steps in their sustainability strategy, they have invested £50,000 as well as a staff engagement programme to restore 400+ hectares of peatland at Kingsdale Head Farm (a fellow Business Declares member) in the Yorkshire Dales, as part of a four-year programme, The Great North Bog, in collaboration with the Yorkshire Peat Partnership.

The project is estimated to capture 450 tonnes of carbon, and aims to restore the landscape and biodiversity of these habitats.
